## Job Description

**Al Bahar Maritime** is seeking an experienced **Logistics Manager** to join its growing maritime operations team in the UAE.

The successful candidate will manage daily logistics activities associated with client and store operations, coordinate transportation and dispatch arrangements, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.

The role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication with clients and vendors, and the ability to manage multiple logistics activities independently.

Candidates with experience in the maritime or shipping industry will be preferred.

## Key Responsibilities

### 1. Logistics Operations Management

– Manage day-to-day logistics operations for client and store activities.
– Ensure smooth workflow across logistics functions.
– Resolve operational issues affecting logistics activities.

### 2. Client & Vendor Coordination

– Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams.
– Ensure timely delivery of services.
– Support cost-effective logistics operations.
– Maintain effective communication among operational stakeholders.

### 3. Inventory & Store Management

– Monitor inventory and stock levels.
– Ensure inventory accuracy.
– Maintain proper stock documentation.
– Support effective inventory coordination.

### 4. Transportation & Dispatch

– Oversee transportation arrangements.
– Coordinate dispatch activities.
– Support timely and efficient movement of goods and services.

### 5. Operational Problem-Solving

– Identify and resolve operational issues.
– Maintain smooth coordination across logistics functions.
– Support uninterrupted daily logistics activities.

### 6. Documentation & Reporting

– Maintain logistics records.
– Prepare regular logistics performance reports.
– Ensure accurate operational documentation.

## Candidate Requirements

### Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following:

– Logistics.
– Supply Chain Management.
– Business Administration.
– Related field.

### Professional Experience

– **Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations.**
– Maritime or shipping industry experience is preferred.

### Technical & Professional Skills

– Strong organizational skills.
– Good communication abilities.
– Ability to work independently.
– Capability to manage multiple tasks.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office:
– Microsoft Excel.
– Microsoft Word.
– Microsoft Outlook.
