Job Description

Redington Middle East is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager Logistics / Team Lead to join its logistics and distribution operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The role is focused on warehouse operations management, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inbound and outbound activities, team leadership, data analysis and operational coordination.

The successful candidate should possess strong practical warehouse experience, excellent organizational and analytical abilities, and proven team management skills.

Candidates with previous experience in IT product distribution will be preferred.

The company also welcomes applications from professionals currently based in India who are prepared to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Support daily warehouse operations and operational planning.
• Coordinate warehouse receiving, storage and dispatch activities.
• Monitor warehouse workflow and operational efficiency.

• Identify operational bottlenecks and support corrective actions.
• Maintain effective coordination across warehouse functions.

2. Inbound Warehouse Operations

• Coordinate incoming shipments and material receiving activities.

• Coordinate receiving priorities with relevant departments.
• Support accurate inventory updates within warehouse systems.

3. Outbound & Distribution Operations

• Coordinate order processing and dispatch activities.

• Support timely order fulfillment and distribution.
• Coordinate with relevant logistics and transportation teams.
• Monitor outbound operational performance.

4. Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

• Use WMS and warehouse applications to support operational activities.
• Maintain accurate warehouse transaction records.
• Monitor system-based stock movements.
• Support warehouse reporting and data accuracy.
• Identify system-related operational discrepancies.
• Coordinate resolution of relevant warehouse system issues.

5. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Supervise warehouse personnel and assigned operational teams.
• Coordinate work assignments and daily priorities.
• Monitor team productivity and operational performance.
• Support employee communication and coordination.
• Address routine operational challenges.
• Promote effective teamwork and accountability.

6. Operational Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze warehouse operational data.
• Monitor relevant performance indicators.
• Prepare and present operational information.
• Identify opportunities for improved warehouse efficiency.
• Support data-driven operational decisions.
• Maintain accurate warehouse reports.

7. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Identify inefficiencies in inbound and outbound processes.
• Recommend improvements to warehouse workflows.
• Support operational standardization.
• Improve coordination between warehouse and distribution functions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Professional Experience

5–7 years of experience in warehouse operations.

Experience in IT distribution is preferred.

Warehouse & Logistics Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Expertise in inbound operations.
• Expertise in outbound operations.
• Familiarity with logistics and distribution workflows.
• Ability to coordinate warehouse activities effectively.

Systems & Technology

• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with warehouse-related software and systems.
• Good data management skills.

Analytical & Management Skills

• Good analytical capabilities.
• Proven team management experience.
