Indirect Manpower Requirement – New KNPC Project: Replacement of Flue Gas Cooler & Associated Facilities

Role / Responsibilities

1. Project Control Engineer – 1 Position

Lead team of Planning Engineers, Costing Engineers and Planners.
Monitor and review all aspects of project control functions.
Ensure planning/scheduling and cost efforts are in accordance with established company procedures.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

2. Planning & Scheduling Engineer – 1 Position

Prepare baseline schedule from preliminary mobilization phase to completion.
Cover engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
Prepare project control documents such as:
Progress Measurement Procedure.
Invoicing Procedure.
Planned Progress “S” Curve.
Manpower & Equipment Histogram.
Generate resource curves in accordance with contractual schedule.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

3. Costing Engineer – 1 Position

Prepare Cost Allocation Code and budget.
Establish baseline cost for each activity/task in line with Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).
Prepare cash flow forecast and trend for expenditure spending plan.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

4. QA/QC Engineer – 1 Position

Lead team of QA/QC.
Experience in Oil & Gas EPC project QA/QC.
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
Design and implementation of QMS and all QA/QC documentation.
Interface with Engineering, Procurement, Vendors/Suppliers, Construction and Subcontractors.
Knowledge of SHELL DEP and KNPC Engineering Standard requirements.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

5. QA/QC Engineer – 1 Position

Experience in Oil & Gas EPC project QA/QC.
Interface with Vendors/Suppliers and Subcontractors.
Handle all discipline inspection activities and final documentation.
Preparation of PTO/MC system, testing and tie-in packs.
Knowledge of SHELL DEP and KNPC Engineering Standard requirements.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

6. Safety Engineer – 1 Position

Experience in site HSE management, documentation and client coordination.
Experience in Oil & Gas industry construction works as stipulated in KNPC HSE guidelines.
Develop and implement the project HSE plan and site-specific procedures.
Ensure HSE requirements are incorporated into construction planning and work methods.
Review contract HSE plans.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

7. Contract Engineer – 1 Position

Provide guidance on contractual, project control and procurement matters to support project operations.
Interpret contracts and provide professional advice on contract administration.
Handle variations, risk analysis, claims and damages assessment.
Finalize commercial agreements, contract amendments, settlement deeds, notices, claims, etc.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

8. Project Engineer – 1 Position

Study/review contract documents in association with specifications and amendments.
Review project execution strategies and implementation schedules.
Provide technical guidance, training and staffing support in planning/scheduling and project control functions.
Involvement in planning and site execution activities for successful project completion.
Confirm that all project requirements are complied with.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

9. Materials Engineer – 1 Position

Minimum 6 years of experience in material stock inventory and monitoring issues/taking appropriate action according to project requirements.
Oversee material receipt and client inspection requirements for material acceptance.
Review MIN and MRIR reports and highlight shortages/shortfalls to the project management team.
Coordinate with inter-departments for feedback.
Ensure availability of minimum requirements of tools and consumables.
Previous KNPC approval is preferred.

Requirements / Qualifications

Project Control Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
20 years of experience.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.

Planning & Scheduling Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
15 years of experience.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.

Costing Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
15 years of experience.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.

QA/QC Engineer – 12 Years

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Metallurgy.
12 years of experience.
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
Oil & Gas EPC project QA/QC experience.
Knowledge of SHELL DEP and KNPC Engineering Standards.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.

QA/QC Engineer – 10 Years

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Metallurgy from a recognized university.
10 years of experience.
Oil & Gas EPC project QA/QC experience.
Knowledge of SHELL DEP and KNPC Engineering Standards.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.

Safety Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
12 years of experience.
Site HSE management, documentation and client coordination experience.
Oil & Gas industry construction experience.
Knowledge of KNPC HSE guidelines.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.

Contract Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
20 years of experience.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.

Project Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
10 years of experience.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.

Materials Engineer

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Metallurgy from a recognized university.
8 years of experience.
Minimum 6 years of experience in material stock inventory and monitoring.
Previous KNPC approval preferred.
