Location: Dubai, UAE | Department: Finance / Financial Control
Role / Responsibilities
• Lead financial control, accounting governance, and financial reporting activities.
• Work closely with senior finance leadership and multiple stakeholders across a complex organisation.
• Manage financial accounting, reporting, and financial controls.
• Develop and maintain robust internal control frameworks.
• Oversee month-end close, balance sheet integrity, and financial governance.
• Support statutory reporting, audit, and accounting policy requirements.
• Operate within ERP-led finance environments and/or shared service models.
• Apply commercial judgement, governance, and leadership capability across a broad and highly visible finance position.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Significant experience across financial accounting, reporting, and financial controls.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, audit, and accounting policies.
• Experience developing and maintaining robust internal control frameworks.
• Strong understanding of month-end close, balance sheet integrity, and financial governance.
• Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Experience within a large, complex, and multi-entity organisation.
• Exposure to ERP-led finance environments and/or shared service models.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively with senior leadership.
• Strong technical accounting and controllership background.
